Signs your roof needs attention

Look for damp patches or peeling paint on the top-floor ceiling, cracks in the roof surface, water pooling after rain, and old coating that is chalky, blistered or lifting. Check the junctions around parapets, drains and pipes, where leaks often start.

How a waterproofing coating works

Al Jawhara Super Roof is described in its data sheet as a ready-to-use, water-based styrene acrylate coating that dries into a continuous, flexible waterproof membrane. It is designed for concrete, gypsum and metal surfaces such as roofs and terraces, and is available in white and multicolour.

Preparation decides the result

The roof must be clean, dry and sound. Cracks are repaired, loose material removed and details around drains and parapets treated before coating. A coating over a dirty or unrepaired surface will not last.

When to do it in Oman

Do not wait for the rain. Apply on dry days, ideally well before the rainy period and the peak summer heat, so the coating has time to cure. A site visit lets us check the roof and suggest the right timing.
