Start with the wall, not the colour

Most early paint failures come from the surface: cracks, damp, loose old paint or salts. A good result starts with repairing and preparing the wall, then the right primer, then the finish coats. Skipping preparation wastes the paint.

Paint or texture?

A smooth exterior paint gives a clean, uniform look. A textured finish adds character, helps hide small surface irregularities and can look richer on a large facade. Colour in strong sun

Colours look different in bright sun than on a small sample card. Light colours reflect more heat and show less fading, while very dark colours absorb more heat. View samples on the wall itself, in daylight, before you decide. Our team can show you the catalog shades on site.

Boundary walls, parapets and details

Count everything that will be painted: parapet tops and insides, boundary walls, columns and soffits. Quotes that ignore these areas are cheaper only on paper. We measure by m² and list the area per elevation and for the boundary wall.
